Jim Specht joined Ray Angelini, Inc. (RAI) in 2007 as safety director. Jim manages the RAI health and safety program to ensure compliance with all local, State, Federal, company and customer requirements.
At RAI, a commitment to safety is a key part of business. Jim was instrumental in developing a comprehensive safety program. Management and employees work diligently to ensure that RAI jobsites are safe working environments. Each new employee meets with Jim to learn RAI safety policies before reporting to the first job site. Weekly "Tool Box Talks" and weekly management safety meetings keep all employees well informed on the latest safety systems and techniques.
This comprehensive approach has earned RAI numerous safety awards from customers, insurance companies, and a number of other industry organizations. Recognizing that there are hazards inherent in the construction industry, Jim has set down a list of the general rules for the company’s safety program.
Jim is an accomplished manager with over 25 years of experience in safety, manufacturing, human resources, quality assurance and team building,15 years of which have been directly related to site safety for the construction industry. He is a member of the Tri-State Human Resources Association, the SHRM Association, and the Sunoco Safety Cooperative. He is a Department of Labor Authorized OSHA instructor and a Red Cross First Aid/CPR instructor.

Jim holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Masters degree in Business Administration from Gwynedd Mercy College, Gwynedd, PA. He also holds many OSHA and NFPA certifications as well as a PHR certification in Human Resources.
He resides in Erial, New Jersey.
